a Chubb MSIC
Officer will
call to provide
you with a
unique identifying
number
and arrange
a suitable time
for an application
interview.
4. After
you have been
contacted by
a Chubb MSIC
Officer, enter
the unique
identifying
number on the Australian Federal Police (AFP)
background check consent form and complete
the form. Send your AFP consent & check
forms directly to the AFP at:
Submitting
this form also
allows the
Australian
Security Intelligence
Organization
(ASIO) to carry
out a security
assessment.
We can also
submit
the
AFP Background
Check on your
behalf when
you come in
for the interview,
should this
be more convenient.
Remember that
the envelope
must be sealed
and signed.
5. Attend
the application
interview with
your original
documentation.

Officer to
attend your
site to
complete the
process or require
additional information please
contact:
A
criminal
history
check
by the
Australian
Federal
Police
(AFP).
A
security
assessment
by the
Australian
Security
Intelligence
Organisation
(ASIO).
When you complete and
sign the AFP criminal
history check consent
form it also allows the
Australian Security Intelligence
Organisation (ASIO) to
carry out a security
assessment. ASIO will
look into your background
for any past activities
that may indicate a threat
to national security.
Only the Australian Government has access to background checking information.
Chubb will not receive any personal information regarding the
AFP check or the ASIO check. The only personal information received
by Chubb is the information entered in the “online application” along
with the supporting documents included in the application interview. The
AFP notifies DoTaRS who only advise Chubb of whether the application has
been approved or rejected.
